Below is an unofficial and incomplete episode guide for Jack’s Big Music Show. I will be adding episodes & information as it becomes available. If you have additional information about the episodes such as air dates or guest stars, please post it to the comments.
Jack’s Big Music Show airs on Noggin and is produced by Spiffy Pictures.
Season 1 - 2005 - 13 Episodes
Little Bad Wolf: Little Bad Wolf interrupts the band practice of Jack, Daisy and Mel.
How Mel Got His Groove Back: An accident makes Mel think he is a cat.
Music Genie: Jack, Mary and Mel each get one wish from the music genie.
Bug Love: Jack is afraid of Mary’s three music-making bugs.
Grow Daddio: Jack, Mary and Mel take care of a flower seed named Arthur.
Mel’s Super Swell Dance Party: Mel throws a dance party, and the whole neighborhood attends.
Marching Band:
The Bongo Bird: The gang must help a baby Bongo Bird find his mother.
Space Opera: Jack and Mary cannot decide what to play today.
The Grumpy Squirrel: The gang becomes suspicious when all of the musical instruments disappear.
The Music Monster: Jack, Mary and Mel help a little monster find his inner scariness.
King of Swing: Buddy Guy visits Jack’s clubhouse.
Season 2 -2007 - 13 Episodes
Snow Day: A beach party goes awry when Mel’s sand machine starts making snow instead.

My Grandkids just LOVE “Jack’s Big Music Show” and it is so cute I don’t mind watching it myself (over and over and OVER..lol)
I just wish they would hurry up and make some more (different) ones

We just saw our first episode on Nick Jr, and we loved the dance party. It kept my kids moving the whole show, and what a great way for me to get in 20min. of cardio and have a blast with my kids!

Word is that another episode of Jack’s Big MS will air on February 6, another new one in April and then the second season will start in the fall.
Note to Noggin: order more shows, please! Thirteen divided by two means lots of re-runs and burnout. That would be a shame with this great show.

The Feb 6 episode is the one with Buddy Guy. I hadn’t heard about the April episode.
One thing I’ve noticed is that Nick Jr/Noggin tend to order small initial blocks. Go Diego Go also only has 12 issues (with only 11 that I’m aware of airing). That’s why I was a little surprised when they ordered 40 episodes of Wow Wow Wubbzy.

I think Jacks Big Music Show is great!!! My baby sister loves watching it. I am 10 years old and I even love to watch it! Our favorite episode is Bongo Bird. We love the Baby Bongo Bird song sung by Jamia.

Has anyone seen “Dancy Nancy” from the Mel’s Dance Party episode? PLEASE tell me she was put in for comic relief lol… I really hope that she isn’t really that nerdy whoever she is… hopefully just acting. Everytime we watch that episode (we have all the JBMS’s recorded to DVD) the second she comes in I start cracking up.

As the mom of 18 month old twin, Jack’s Big Music Show often allows me to keep my sanity. My girls LOVE this show! I really hope that one day (soon!) we can buy Jack, Mary and Mel dolls, DVDs and CDs.

Hello I want to ad that my 14 month old grandaughter is your biggest fan. There are a lot of shows out there including the new baby channel but they don’t hold the interest JBWS does. My only complaint is I don’t have a dvd recorder to make DVD’s for my daughter to play anytime. I wish you could see the dancing and clapping that goes on when this show airs. The tunes are addictive to adults too. Thanks!

wow, i swear that everyone here expresses the same issues that my mom and i do about jbms. my son has been in love with this show since he was around four or five months old and he is now one. i had jack, mary and mel on his birthday cake and he just lit up when he saw it! my mom blew up a picture of it and he carries it around at her house! i want to find toys because i know they would be his best friends! have a super swell day…yippee!

Who can we write to about the Noggin schedule change - it has thrown off our daily schedule!!!
Also, I don’t know who to write to, but I’ve got a first birthday for my little girl coming in September and would love to have Jack things for her party and gifts. Who do we write to to get things moving for Jack, Mary and Mel? They seem to be getting the short side of the marketing stick.
I’m getting worried that Jack may be too savvy for most of the world. This happens with programs all the time on the networks. A few loyal fans “get” the show, it’s greatness, and the value of it, but they aren’t enough to save the show. Now Noggin has it only showing once a day. We need to get some Jack merchandise to let people know about the show and to make our kids happy!

I want to thank Noggin for helping me get through the day. If it wasn’t for Jack, Mel, and Mary my child would have no friends. He is only 15 mths old but he loves Jack’s Big Music Show and has been watching it since he was six months old. It is the only cartoon that will catch his attention. So needless to say, I have every episode recorded on our DVR. The funny part is that I love it too. I can clean the house listening to the songs and my family, including my husband, gets involved with the singing. It has been a ” LIFE SAVER” for us and our son. I would like to make a suggestion if I may and ask that Noggin comes out with toys that represent the show. That would be another wonderful inavative idea.

1. The first thing I want to say it to the poster of this blog/website. At the top of the episode listing, your headlin is “Season 1 - 2005 - 13 Episodes” but if you actually count the number of episodes you have listed, there are only 12.
2. My 16-month old son is obsessed with Jack. My mother discovered it only a few months ago and he is hooked! He dances, claps, bounces and laughs the whole time. It’s the only show he will sit all the way through. As soon as he hear’s that theme song he will coming running out of the other room with his blanket and crawl onto the couch. He gets upest when the dog sits in his way blocking the TV!
3. I am fortunate enough to have a DVD recorder and TiVO. I was keeping every episode on TiVO but it started to just take up too much room. Then I got the brilliant idea to put it on a DVD so now I can pop it into my DVD player whenever I want and it doesn’t take up space on my TiVO. The only problem is that Noggin never shows “The Music Monster” episode so it’s not complete. Hopefully, they will release a Season 1 DVD with all 12 episodes on it.
4. With the aforementioned being said, I can’t wait until the new season starts! I am so sick of watching the same 12 episodes over and over and over!!
5. I, too, would love them to get on the ball with marketing. I would have loved to get my son some Jack and Mel toys for Christmas or be able to have a JBMS birthday party for him next year when he turns 2. It seems like they are not realizing the popularity of the show and capitalizing on it. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.

I just heard back from Spiffy about new episodes coming in January 2007. What I also learned was a company is gageing interest in a JBMS-Live touring production.

Look for it in stores now. You can also download it on ITunes. It has
super swell songs from the clubhouse and our music videos. It’s great
for
long plane rides.
Besides the brand new CD, we don’t have any other “Jack” merchandise
for
sale. Many of our super swell fans have been writing about DVD’s,
plush
toys, party favors and t-shirts. You might want to drop a line to
Nickeoldeon and Noggin. Tell them you want to see our stuff in stores.
It might help speed up the process.

My 10 Month old is HOOKED on this show…I started putting on JBMS for my 5 year old because she is a big music fan and has been watching Noggin forever, and slowly my baby began paying attention…now at 10 months she recognizes the characters as soon as they pop on tv (even if i have it on mute), she claps on queue to the intro song and absolutely loves the musical guest appearances…I can’t believe that at 10 months she is so absorbed into this one show…she can’t be bothered with any other show…so YaY for JBMS, I have all the episodes Tivo’d and I play one to calm down my fussy baby and it works, EVERYTIME!
Having said that, I am so disappointed that they don’t have any plush toys, it would make her super happy…

I have wrote a few times to spiffy productions since my daughter loves their show, (her first song ever sing was a jbms song!).. and got a prompt response, said they were pretty much working on it, and that they were hoping to start marketing it more. It makes me think that it is really not up to them weather they make more shows or come out with jbms toys,… so its been about 6 months and still waiting…

I am also looking for ANYTHING that is Jack, Mary, Mel, and the gang. I just bought the DVD “Let’s Rock” for my granddaughter (8 months - got hooked on Jack at 3 months) and I bought all the Curious Buddies DVD’s without previewing them since I couldn’t find them on TV.
