With Thanksgiving past us, and stations not launching the bulk of their holiday programming until next week, things are pretty quiet.

The Noggin show will be seen on Nick Jr. Monday through Friday at 11:00am. There will also be a marathon on Friday with 6 consecutive episodes starting at 11:00am.

The Week in Preschool Television: November 21st - 27th

Playhouse Disney LogoLittle Einsteins: New episode The Mouse and the Moon premiers November 21st at 8:00am.

JoJo’s Circus: Thanksgiving day will feature a six hour JoJo marathon. It will run from 6:00am until noon. The marathon will feature encore showings of The Thanksgiving Hip-Hooray Parade at 6:00am and again at 8:30am.

Nick Jr logoLazyTown: LazyTown’s Greatest Hits will premier at 11:30am on Wednesday, November 23rd. The episode will cap a LazyTown marathon that runs from 9:00am until noon.

Regular Nick Jr. programming won’t be seen on Thursday and Friday. Instead, episodes of The Fairly Oddparents, Jimmy Neutron, and a Barbie Nutcracker (among other shows) will be aired. For the full schedule, click here.

PBS KidsIt’s a Big Big Friend Day will air on Friday, November 25th. The two hour programming block will feature episodes of Clifford the Big Red Dog and Dragon Tales focused around friendship. The block will also feature the introduction of various characters, including Snook the sloth, from the new show It’s a Big Big World. Times vary by location. Playhouse Disney Christmas Programming

Playhouse Disney announced their Christmas themed programming, including new episodes of Charlie and Lola, Little Einsteins, Koala Brothers.

The holiday programming will begin with the premiere of Little Einsteins A Christmas Wish.. In the episode Santa delivers presents for each of the kids, unfortunately Annie’s is lost. The mission is to recover Annie’s missing present. The episode airs on December 12th at 8:00am.

Also on December 12th, there will be a new wintery episode of Charlie and Lola. Snow is on the way and Lola is bursting with excitement. After a day where Charlie, Lola, Marv, Sizzles and Lotta make snow angels and have snow races, the snow melts. Charlie helps a very disappointed Lola understand that snow is even more special because it isn’t there forever. The episode will air at 9:30am.

December 21st will bring the premier of The Koala Brothers Outback Christmas. Frank and Buster fly to Antarctica to help their injured penguin friend Penny. The episode will air at 11:00am.

The week of December 19th playhouse Disney will feature several holiday programs.

December 19th: Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas - 11:00am & 8:00pm
December 20th: The Wiggles Santa’s Rockin featuring John Foggerty and Barry Williams. 11:00am.
December 21st: Koala Brothers Outback Christmas - 11:00am.

Little Einsteins: Premier of Annie’s Solo Mission (November 14th 8:00am, re-air 12:30pm). Ten episode marathon airs November 18th beginning at 8:00am.

Catch new Blue’s Room episodes every day at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) November 14 to 18. There will also be a 4 episode mini-marathon on Friday from noon until 2:00pm.

LazyTown’s Surprise Santa & Frosty Fridays

There will be a special holiday-themed episode of Lazy Town airing on December. The episode, titled LazyTown’s Surprise Santa, features Robbie Rotten trying to launch a giant snowball towards a Christmas party. Robbie is miffed because he thought he wasn’t invited to the party. He actually was invited, and Sportacus is left to save the day. It will premier on Friday, December 9th at 12:00pm on Nick Jr.

The new LazyTown will be part of a wintery programming block on Nick Jr. called Frosty Fridays. Other programming includes:

Little Einsteins Marathon

Little EinsteinsPlayhouse Disney will be airing ten straight episodes of Little Einsteins on Friday, November 18th. The programming block will begin at 8:00am and run until 1:00pm. Considering there have only been eleven episodes aired to date - including a Halloween special - that means you can essentially see the whole series. Get your Tivo’s ready.

JoJo’s Thanksgiving Circus

JoJo's Circus ThanksgivingPlayhouse Disney will be airing a special two-part episode of JoJo’s Circus for Thanksgiving. The episode will feature Circus Town preparing for a big parade that will go past Big Boo Boo Hospital. Along the way though Mrs. Kersplatski gets hurt and it’s up to JoJo to help out.

The show will air at 7:30pm on Sunday, November 20th. It will be preceded by Alice and Wonderland at 6:00pm. If you miss the episode on the Sunday airing, you’ll have another chance Thanksgiving morning. Playhouse Disney will be airing 6 hours of JoJo’s Circus starting at 6:00am on Thursday, November 24th.

Cooking with Elmo

Via Blogging Baby it appears that Elmo will be appearing on Friday night’s episode of Emeril Live. Elmo will be Emeril’s sous chef. The show will air November 4th at 8:00pm on the Food Network, with a repeat showing later at midnight.

This is a big week for Elmo. Earlier in the month it was announced he wouldn’t be included in the Hot Dozen toy list put out by Toy Wishes magazine. However, Fisher-Price announced the roll-out of Know your Name Elmo. This new edition comes with a USB cable so that parents can program Elmo to know their children’s name.

Meeting Snook

PBS Kids will introduce the characters from their newest television show, It’s a Big, Big World during a special programming block on November 25th. As part of PBS Kids It’s a Big, Big Friend Day Clifford and Emily Elizabeth will introduce Snook the sloth, the three-toed star of the new show. The programming block will feature episodes of Clifford and Dragon Tales themed around friendship.
