Nick Jr. Poster Cards

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A new website, Cards4Kids.com will create and personalize 18″X24″ cards for your kids. The cards feature Nick Jr. brands such as:

  • Dora the Explorer
  • Go Diego Go
  • Blue’s Clues
  • SpongeBob SquarePants
  • The Backyardigans

I ordered a couple for my kids as my oldest started kindergarten this month, and my youngest started preschool. “Back to School” was just one of the occasions for which cards were available.

The ordering process was simple and straightforward. You simply select the character you’d like, and then you select the theme. The cards can be personalized with the child’s name, as well as a short message. My cards were shipped the next day and arrived rolled up in a tube.

That’s the logistics, the actual product was great as well. The cards come on poster-weight paper. The colors are crisp and the print quality is great. I was very satisfied with the end result. And the kids were thrilled as well.

Each poster is 14.95. For more information see www.cards4kids.com

Diego and Backyardigans Toys on the way

Monday, February 13th, 2006

Nickelodeon announced that they will be adding toys for Go Diego Go and The Backyardigans.

Go Diego Go

While these would have been great to have last Christmas, I guess it’s better late than never. Fischer Price will be offering a line of toys this fall including the Diego’s Animal Rescue Center. Also offered will be animals that come complete with a fact card.

The Backyardigans

Fischer Price will offer a variety of toys that “inspire preschoolers to use their imaginations” this fall. The line is highlighted by Sit and Spin Pablo. There will also be activity and craft kits available from Jakks Pacific.

Missed Toy Ideas

Saturday, November 26th, 2005

With it being shopping season and all, I have received quite a few hits here lately for people searching for various toys. The thing is, most of the toys people are searching for don’t exist - but they should. For example, I receive about a dozen hits a day for people looking for a Rescue Pack from Go Diego Go. And yet, I don’t think anybody is making one. Nick and a toy manufacturer miss out on a golden opportunity. In fact, I can’t even find a toy Baby Jaguar.

And then there is Little Einsteins. Currently the only product I seem to be able to find is the DVD Little Einsteins Big Huge Adventure (aff link). I know from my referrer logs that there is definitely a demand for Rocket, as well as the kids themselves.

With all of the toys that get made, I can’t belive these didn’t make the cut.
